Colors are the expression of our emotions, our mood and the energy we emit. They permeate every aspect of our lives, beautifying the ordinary and bringing beauty and drama to everyday objects. They motivate us, calm us down, stimulate us, excite us and many times express elements of our personality while often denoting our emotions in a decoded way.

In all centuries and all peoples, everyday issues, habits, customs and traditions in many different cultures were often expressed with color during religious ceremonies and social events. Every culture has its own unique heritage that is also symbolized by colors.

My love for colors was the catalyst for my passion for art, as well as my inspiration for this collection. I created twenty pieces that were both naturally and digitally processed, so they can decorate and enhance your favorite spaces and moments in life. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did while creating them.

The name Amalthea, in Greek "tender goddess", is the name of the goat that nurtured, cared for and raised the god Zeus when his mother Rhea ran him away from the family home to save him from his father Cronus. Amalthea, in fact, was a goddess and helped Rhea while she raised Zeus to become the future leader of the dodecatheon. In Greece she was worshipped as a goddess.

In Greece and around the world it symbolizes abundance and is usually depicted as a woman holding a horn full of fruit and vegetables. This goddess was my inspiration for this series that I hope you enjoy.
